Project overview
Ely Work Collective is a coworking space created to bring freelancers, remote workers, creatives and small businesses together under one roof. For this project, we created a testimonial-led brand film that introduced the space through the people who know it best. We interviewed the founders to tell the story behind Ely Work Collective, alongside members who regularly use the space to give an authentic perspective on what it is like to work there. Rather than simply showcasing the facilities, the aim was to communicate the atmosphere, community and benefits of working alongside other local businesses and professionals.
project process
The film was built around a series of relaxed talking-head interviews with the founders and members of Ely Work Collective. During the interviews, we explored why the space was created, what makes it different from working from home or a traditional office, and the impact it has had on the people who use it. We then captured a range of natural B-roll throughout the workspace, including members working at their desks, interacting with one another and using the different areas of the building. This footage was used throughout the edit to visually support what was being discussed in the interviews and give viewers a better sense of the space in use. The finished film combines the founders' story with genuine client testimonials, creating a simple and personable introduction to Ely Work Collective while showing potential members what they can expect from becoming part of the community.
