Project overview
Anglian Trail Adventures offers guided motorcycle adventures across East Anglia, giving riders the opportunity to explore the countryside and experience trail riding without the worry of navigating the route themselves. For their brand film, we wanted to put the viewer directly into the experience and show what a typical day riding with Anglian Trail Adventures actually feels like. Rather than creating something overly polished or staged, we took a fly-on-the-wall approach. Using two camera operators, we followed the riders throughout the day, capturing everything from preparing the bikes and setting off to riding the trails, stopping along the route and experiencing the landscape. The visual style was intentionally raw and energetic, using handheld camera movement to reflect the gritty, unpredictable nature of trail riding. This was contrasted with cinematic drone footage showcasing the scale and variety of the East Anglian landscape — an important part of what makes the Anglian Trail Adventures experience unique.
project process
The aim from the beginning was to capture a genuine day with Anglian Trail Adventures rather than build the film around heavily staged scenes. With two camera operators on location, we were able to follow the action from multiple perspectives while allowing the team and riders to go about their day naturally. This gave us authentic interactions, spontaneous moments and energetic riding footage without interrupting the experience. We deliberately embraced handheld movement and close-up details to make the audience feel as though they were riding alongside the group. Wider shots and drone footage were then used to open up the film, revealing the countryside and landscapes the riders travel through during their adventure. In the edit, these two visual styles were brought together to create a film that balances the raw energy of trail riding with the freedom and scale of exploring East Anglia — giving potential customers a genuine sense of what they can expect from a day with Anglian Trail Adventures.
